Have now been here a couple of times. Each time the service was friendly and attentive, and to-go was quick. The food was good each time and the plates and cups were clean. Overall a nice spot. We got to-go our second time which they had a menu for right away.
Staff is friendly. Lots of food and drink options. Loved their birria pizza and their tacos were delicious. Food is inexpensive too.
I decided to try Taco Express while in the area this weekend. They have a parking lot but it's very small and gets filled quickly. I was lucky enough to grab a spot. This is a place frequently visited by locals and it was very busy. I decided to dine in and there was a combination of people dining in and ordering take out. The staff mostly speaks Spanish but there are some English speaking staff persons. My birria tacos were delicious. The consome was lightly favored. The combination of the green and red sauce made the tacos even better. I wish they had fresh juices like other taco spots in the area. All in all would order / visit here again.
If you need to feed a crowd without the hassle get yourself the taco platter! One platter fed 6 people comfortably with left overs. I love how all the fixings were separated in containers, food was delivered fresh and on time for the event. Thank you taco Express for making it easy!

Happy Sunday Adventurers! I've been here a few times for take out and each time it's been very good. I recently got the chicken flautas and they were really delicious. Parking can be a hassle bc the street parking has so many signs---but that's Amboy. Tiny parking lot that is hard to maneuver bc people double park for fun. I usually park in the police parking lot up the road. Staff has always been nice and the place had an outdoor dinning area, def check this place out.
The food is excellent, I don't know what these negative reviews are all about but we get take out from here at least once a week and its always amazing!
Very good local Perth Amboy taqueria with a full menu and incredibly impressive looking pambazos. Semi-open kitchen, with a window view of the kitchen preparation and ample seating. There's a parking lot Taco Express is known among locals so it often draws a crowd.
